The Singaporean officer hoped for closer cooperation with the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense to lift the defense ties to a new height.
For his part, General Nam held that while the Vietnam-Singapore relationship has developed fruitfully, the bilateral defense cooperation has been cemented and has reaped substantial outcomes in various fields, such as all-level delegation exchange, young officer exchange, naval, military medical cooperation, training and information sharing.
The Vietnamese General also believed that with high political determination, good will and great efforts of the two sides, the bilateral defense ties will reach a new pinnacle with strong development.
