    MR 2 inspects combat readiness ahead of 14th National Party Congress

    PANO – On January 2, a working delegation of the Military Region (MR) 2 Command, led by Major General Nguyen Dang Khai, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of MR 2, conducted an inspection of combat readiness in support of security and protection missions for the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 2026 Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays, and the national elections for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2030 tenure at Air Defense Brigade 297.
