    Mai Xa ancient village, where they chose to rest - Part 3: Tracing mass graves

    PANO - The accounts of veterans and residents of Mai Xa village (Cua Viet commune, Quang Tri province) not only evoke memories of a fierce battlefield, but also provide clues about mass graves and martyrs’ remains that might still lie underground. Carrying place names and dates preserved for six decades, we continued cross-referencing records and the site to piece together the lost fragments of history.
