An overview of the working session

At the working session, leaders of the two academies exchanged information on their achievements in education, training, scientific research, and international cooperation. They also discussed orientations and measures to strengthen cooperation between the two leading defense strategic training and research institutions in the coming time.

Both sides affirmed that establishing a direct cooperation framework between the two academies was of practical significance, creating favorable conditions for officers, lecturers, and scientists from both sides to exchange expertise and share experience, thereby contributing to improving the quality of military and defense education and scientific research.

Under the MoU, the two sides agreed to promote cooperation in military education and scientific research by organizing meetings between academy leaders to discuss issues of mutual concern.

The two academies will strengthen scientific research cooperation in specific fields of military science, participate in international conferences and seminars, and explore other areas of cooperation based on mutual needs. These activities will contribute to enhancing coordination and strengthening the friendly relations between the two sides.

The signing of the MoU marks a new development in the cooperation between the Viet Nam National Defense Academy and the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It provides a foundation for both sides to implement cooperation activities in the coming time, in line with their respective functions and tasks, contributing to consolidating the traditional friendship and promoting Viet Nam-Russia defense cooperation.
