Reportedly, members of the sub-committee have pro-actively and synchronously carried out their assigned tasks. Military press agencies, with the People’s Army Newspaper and the Military Broadcasting Center playing a core role, together with other press agencies, have actively promoted the dissemination of information about the expo through various platforms.
Communication activities have focused on the activities of leaders of the Vietnamese Defense Ministry and the Organizing Committee, preparation work, and defense foreign relations activities.
In addition, training courses for liaison officers, interpreters, and receptionists are being conducted. Functional agencies are also accelerating surveys to arrange press working areas, establish the press center at the expo, and develop communication plans ahead of the event.
During the expo, many distinctive cultural and artistic programs are planned for visitors, including 10 art performances, four water puppet shows performed by the Viet Nam National Puppetry Theater, eight light sculpture performances, and various interactive activities.
The Culture and Arts Division under the Department of Political Education and Information has coordinated with the Viet Nam Military History Museum to complete the scripts and display arrangements for the area introducing economic-defense products and the culture of the three regions of Viet Nam.
Forces from the Commando Corps, the Political Officer Candidate School, the Military Ceremonial Troupe, and the Military University of Culture and Arts are actively rehearsing their performances.
Concluding the conference, Major General Nguyen Xuan Thuy highly appreciated the communication work carried out recently based on the experience gained from the previous two expos.
The general requested members of the sub-committee to continue promoting communication activities and finalize preparations for the press conference slated for October. He asked military press agencies to increase news coverage, actively share information, and promote the event through foreign affairs channels and social media platforms to introduce the expo to international friends.
Major General Nguyen Xuan Thuy assigned the Culture and Arts Division to closely follow the rehearsal process of performing forces and create favorable conditions for press agencies to cover the activities.
The General Department of Defense Industry was requested to coordinate in providing information and images of new Vietnamese defense industry products, while ensuring favorable conditions for press activities at the press center.
