    Early Tet in UNMISS - Part 1: Tet of “Return to the Root”

    Though far from the homeland, the Lunar New Year (Tet) atmosphere among Vietnamese “blue berets” serving in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) remains rich in the traditional spirit of Vietnam’s Lunar New Year. People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) presents the feature series “Early Tet in UNMISS,” produced by its reporters during their participation in a working delegation to UNMISS to establish a live television point connecting South Sudan and Vietnam, within the framework of the program “A Spring Journey of Vietnam 2026 – Convergence.”

    Cambodian delegation extends Tet greetings to Military Region 9

    PANO – On February 7, in Hanoi, the Military Women Advisory Board, the Standing Body of the Board for the Advancement of Women of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, in coordination with the United Nations (U.N.) Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (U.N. Women), and with the support of the Military Training and Cooperation Program (MTCP) of the Canadian Department of National Defense, jointly organized the international workshop titled “Enhancing Capacity and Ensuring Safety for Women in the Military for Peace and Security in the Digital Era.”
