Exhibition spreads love for national sea and islands

The exhibition will run until September 3 at Sam Son Beach Square.

The exhibition features 75 poster designs and 150 photos, depicting soldiers protecting the national sea and skies, fishermen making a living offshore, and the lives and changes in coastal and island areas.

Each work conveys messages about national sovereignty and love for the sea and islands, while highlighting marine economic development alongside environmental protection, ecosystem conservation and the livelihoods of local people.

Beyond displaying documentary materials, the exhibition offers the public an accessible and engaging way to learn about border, sea and island issues through visual imagery. On the opening day, large numbers of officials, troops, residents, students and Youth Union members visited the exhibition.

The exhibition features 75 poster designs and 150 photos.

A key message of the exhibition is that building and defending the Fatherland from the sea requires development to go hand in hand with the rational use of marine resources, environmental protection, strengthened national defense and security, and preservation of marine space for future generations.

Held as the country celebrates the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the exhibition helps bring border, sea and island-related information closer to the community. It contributes to fostering patriotism, a sense of ownership, aspirations to reach out to the wider sea, and citizens’ responsibility for building, developing and preserving Viet Nam’s sea and islands.
