PART 2: Joint efforts needed to relieve “Orange” pain

PANO - Besides casualties resulted from war-left explosives, mines and bombs, the residues of toxic chemicals / dioxin in Vietnam also have serious consequences. During the war, the US military carried out 19,905 sorties, spraying about 80 million liters of toxic chemicals onto nearly 26,000 villages covering an area of about 3.06 million hectares in southern Vietnam. 61% of these toxic chemicals are Agent Orange, containing 366kg dioxin.
