Over the past 60 years, generations of the institute’s troops and workers have always been absolutely loyal to the Party, nation and people, upheld their firm political stance, promoted the virtue of Uncle Ho's soldiers and fulfilled all assigned missions.

On behalf of the State President, Deputy PM Dam handed over the title to the institute. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dam hailed great achievements attained by General Department 2 in general and by the institute in particular over the past time. To meet the requirements of building the army in the current context, the unit should well implement its political education work, orient troops’ thoughts, and focus on building a contingent of qualified workers, and determination to undertake and fulfill all assigned tasks.

He urged the institute to continue improving the quality and effectiveness of its science and technology research, contributing to the national industrialization and modernization.
