The two corporations will pro-actively review and report to the MND’s relevant agencies on enterprise organization and restructuring; fulfill the tasks and targets assigned by the MND; improve operational efficiency; and ensure stable incomes for their employees.

Speaking at the meeting, Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Quang Ngoc asked VAXUCO and the Military Petroleum Corporation to continue reviewing and completing their development strategies for 2026-2030, closely following resolutions and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the MND on the development of military enterprises and economic growth. The development strategies must clearly define core business areas while ensuring sustainable growth alongside operational efficiency, financial safety, legal compliance, risk management, stronger corporate governance, high-quality human resource development, and the effective performance of military and national defense missions.

The two corporations were also urged to pro-actively identify procurement needs, closely coordinate with focal agencies and project owners, step up efforts to seek partners and sources of goods, and expand markets. They should promptly advise and propose measures to the Central Military Commission and MND leadership to effectively implement defense procurement programs and projects; ensure sufficient reserves of gasoline and oil for units’ training and combat readiness missions; and manage and use defense land in accordance with regulations.

The two corporations are also to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness by accelerating the application of information technology and digital transformation, while decisively restructuring and reorganizing their enterprises in a comprehensive, streamlined, efficient, and regulation-compliant manner.
