Military hospital awarded with noble order
PANO - With its outstanding achievements over the past years, Military Hospital 120 of the Department of Logistics under Military Region 9 has been presented with the Third-class Labor Order.
The hospital on April 28 organized a ceremony to mark its 40th founding anniversary (April 30) and receive the noble order in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang.
In his speech at the ceremony, Senior Colonel Phan Hong Phuc, the hospital’s director, said that since its establishment on April 30, 1977, the hospital has surmounted difficulties and brought into full play its tradition to excellently accomplish all assigned missions. The hospital did international services in Cambodia for ten years. So far, with high solidarity, innovation and self-reliance, the hospital has developed in all aspects, meeting treatment requirements and ensuring good health for troops of Military Region 9 and people in the area it is stationed.
On behalf of Military Region 9’s Party Committee and Command, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hoang Thuy, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of Military Region 9, lauded the hospital’s achievements and asked it to better serve patients, apply new technologies to treatment, ensure safety in medicine use, and bring into play the tradition of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in caring for the health of people in remote, mountainous areas and in revolutionary bases.
At the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Hoang Thuy presented the certificate of the Third-Class Labor Order signed by Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh to the hospital.
