The meeting concluded that the whole military embraced and strictly carried out directives of all-levels on the organization of lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, observed regulations on guard sessions, patrols, and duties.
Attentively, Party and political work in combat readiness performance and Tet organization was well implemented in close attachment to each unit’s tasks. In addition, units effectively carried out the emulation drive to mark the Party’s founding anniversary and welcome the new spring. They also organized interesting cultural and sport activities, creating joyful atmosphere and strengthening the ties between troops and people.

Agencies and units under the GDP welcomed Tet in a joyful, healthy, safe, economical manner, high combat readiness posture, ensuring absolute safety.
Expressing his delight at the GDP’s affiliates’ outcomes in welcoming Tet and observing combat readiness, national law and military discipline, Gen. Quyet noted that the missions for February are heavy. Therefore, he urged them to promptly perform their political tasks and give instructions to conduct the missions according to set programs and plans.
The GDP chief laid stress on the strict implementation of higher levels’ resolutions, directives and plans on this year’s Party and political work, the good preparations for all-level Party congresses, and the guidance on reviewing the Party inspection, supervision, discipline work of the Military Party Organization in the 2020-2025 period.
Apart from the above-mentioned tasks, Gen. Quyet also requested the GDP’s affiliates to start activities in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the National Reunification Day soon, successfully launch a writing contest on the Party and Uncle Ho, and give suggestions to organize a conference to honor military role models in mass mobilization in ethnic and mountainous areas in the 2019-2024 period. Moreover, they should direct the organization of the recruitment festival 2025, coordinate to carry out the tree-planting festival 2025, and direct the implementation of Party and political work in all tasks, particularly youth handover and reception and start of new training sessions.
The GDP leader believed that agencies and units in the whole military would continue completing all missions in 2025 with results higher than previous years.
