In his visit to the Department of Mass Mobilization, Gen. Tung acknowledged the great efforts of the agency’s personnel to complete their assignments in 2024, including new and difficult ones. He also pointed out its shortcomings, and asked it to promote the attainments, overcome shortcomings, and draw lessons from each working aspect.

In addition, the agency should continue giving timely suggestions to the GDP leadership to direct agencies and units in the whole military to realize resolutions, directives and regulations of the Party, State, military on mass mobilization, special dissemination, ethnic, religious work and grassroots democracy regulations. The Department of Mass Mobilization’s cadres and staff were requested to pro-actively self-study, self-practice, improve their expertise, and competency, among others.
Extending Tet greetings to officers and soldiers of the Department of Organization, Gen. Tung hailed the agency’s accomplishments over the past time.
He emphasized the important role of the Party-building work and urged the Department of Organization to pro-actively research situations and higher levels’ directives closely, and keep a close eye on the military’s missions in the new situation to better its strategic advisory role.

The agency was also asked to coordinate with relevant forces to prepare and organize the 12th Military Party Congress successfully and responsibly engage in drafting documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.
As Tet is drawing near, Gen. Tung presented the GDP’s Tet gifts to these agencies and sent best wishes to their cadres, staff, soldiers and their families. He asked both agencies to maintain duty and combat readiness regulations, promote fire prevention, ensure safety for their barracks and traffic safety during the Tet holiday, as well as ensure a joyful, safe and economical Tet for troops.
