Having heard the province’s report on its economic, political, and social situations in 2024, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet hailed the achievements of the provincial Party Committee, authorities, and people. He emphasized that Hai Duong’s Party committees and authorities at all levels should continue focusing on defense and security work, the implementation of social welfare, and ensuring policies for revolutionary contributors so that everyone can celebrate Tet with “no one left behind.”

Extending New Year greetings to the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee, authorities, and people, the GDP Chief expressed his hope that they would continue to uphold solidarity, overcome difficulties, and successfully fulfill all assigned tasks and set targets.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet then inspected combat readiness and extended Tet greetings to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province and Thanh Quang commune, Thanh Ha district.

Speaking highly of the achievements of the Party organizations, authorities, and people of Thanh Ha district and Thanh Quang commune in 2024, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet expressed his hope that the local Party Committee, authorities, and people would continue to foster solidarity and uphold their traditions. He urged them to overcome difficulties and ensure effective leadership measures to boost economic, cultural, and social development, achieving new successes and victories.

On the occasion of the lunar New Year 2025, the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense, together with other organizations, presented gifts to the military units, and handed over gifts to 200 policy households and national contributors, and 200 needy workers in Hai Duong province.

After hearing reports on the units’ achievements in 2024 and preparations for the lunar New Year 2025, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh hailed the efforts of the troops in fulfilling their tasks, especially on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People Defense Festive Day, and the 80th founding anniversary of the GDP.

He urged the units’ Party committees and leaders to strictly implement directives on combat readiness, promote political education with absolute safety, and ensure a joyful and safe Tet celebration for troops and laborers.

* A delegation of the GDP, led by its Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, visited and inspected preparations for the upcoming emulation drive in Ho Chi Minh City Military Command.

In 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command will launch an emulation campaign during the opening ceremony of the training season in 2025. The campaign is a meaningful initiative to celebrate the Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day’s 50th anniversary (April 30, 1975 - 2025) and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2025).

Concluding the inspection, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To emphasized that the emulation campaign is a significant content. It must reflect the stature and traditions of Ho Chi Minh City’s armed forces, the virtues and traditions of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, the growth and strength of the city’s armed forces.

During his Tet visits to the units, the GDP leader spoke highly of the units’ efforts in fulfilling tasks and achieving significant outcomes in 2024. After presenting Tet gifts to the units, he emphasized the need to strictly implement directives on Tet celebrations, maintain solidarity, uphold the virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, and help officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances.

He also requested them to strictly implement combat readiness missions, organize activities to celebrate Tet, and ensure a joyful and safe Tet. After the Tet holiday, the units should promptly resume operations and effectively implement their plans to excel in all assigned tasks.
