Vietnamese frigate, 015 - Tran Hung Dao, approaching Changi port after four-day voyage

During the nearly four-day voyage, crossing many international waters, the crew-members on the frigate have always observed duty regulations, detected targets in a timely manner and reported situations to the commanding officer for handling, ensuring navigation safety. Together with ensuring smooth communications, they also kept the frigate’s materiel operating stably.

On the way to Singapore, the crew-members joined a long-distance seafaring training session while officers’ commanding skills, troops’ coordination, combat readiness ability, and mastery of assigned weapons and equipment were checked.

The participation in multilateral international activities in Singapore will help the Vietnamese naval force improve the coordination capability in response to common navigation security challenges, contributing to enhancing the friendship and fine partnership between the militaries and navies of Vietnam and other participating countries.
