According to head of the third Vietnamese engineering company Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hao, the procedures were completed swiftly, since the team adhered to the schedule, complied with regulations during transit, and ensured absolute safety. Despite the long journey, all the personnel are in good health and now ready to take on their duties.
In the coming days, the Vietnamese peacekeepers will focus on settling in, receiving equipment and supplies, organizing training, and enhancing skills in vehicle operation and combat drills in the area.

Non-Commissioned Second Lieutenant Lam Van Toi shared that the unit's smart camp was well-planned, built scientifically, and well-equipped with adequate facilities. To meet the upcoming mission requirements, its personnel will actively study, train, and efficiently prepare to adapt to the new climate and working environment.
Currently, Abyei is at the end of the rainy season, experiencing hot daytime weather and thunderstorms at night, which could impact the troops' health.

This time, some members of the Engineering Company Rotation 2, who voluntarily stayed on for the handover, quickly carried out plans, shared experience, and guided new members to familiarize with the local climate. Thanks to their rich experience in leadership, management, and mission execution, the Engineering Company Rotation 3 soon settled down and completed the handover process, preparing to undertake their duties promptly.
With a spirit of solidarity and high determination, the entire unit will continue to bring into play the success of previous contingents in the area, overcoming challenges to successfully fulfill upcoming tasks.
