Reportedly, in the first half of the year, the corps actively and comprehensively implemented its tasks as planned. Especially, it made recommendations to the Ministry of National Defense, directed engineering work in the whole military, conducted mine detection and clearance, and managed and protected combat constructions and border patrol roads nationwide.

Accordingly, the corps’ affiliated units strictly implemented directives and orders of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and the corps’ commander on combat readiness, ensuring safety during important events of the Party, State, and military, and organizing training as scheduled with good outcomes.
Meanwhile, the logistics supply and technical services were also implemented comprehensively and effectively, while the management and use of defense land and combat constructions were strictly conducted, among others.

Regarding tasks for the second half of 2024, the corps will focus on grasping situations in localities where its units are stationed, raising training quality, enhancing inspection at affiliated units, taking part in ensuring safety for important events of the Party, State and military, and being ready for any national disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, and mine and bomb disposal missions.
In the coming time, the unit will also carry out education and training missions, and boost research on technical initiatives as planned.
On the occasion, the corps launched an emulation drive, and awarded individuals and collectives with outstanding performance in the first half of 2024.
