The camp was attended by nearly 600 campers including members of the city’s youth union, young cadres and soldiers of the city’s armed forces and other units such as 370 Air Force Division, 367 Air Defense Division, 5 Division (Military region 7), 9 Division (Military region 4), 189 Naval Brigade, Tran Dai Nghia University, University of People’s Security and People’s Security College II.

The camp was divided into 6 sub-camps of An Bang, Sinh Ton, Song Tu Tay, Nam Yet, Son Ca and Phan Vinh with a number of exciting and meaningful activities such as offering flowers to President Ho Chi Minh, lighting incense at the Rung Sac martyrs’ cemetery, visiting and presenting gifts for Vietnamese heroic mothers and policy beneficiaries as well as carrying out the “Clean up the sea” program and planting trees.

In addition, the participants also have an opportunity to join various games, cultural exchanges and a camp-fire.

The camp is a practical activity to educate the youth of the spirit of patriotism and sense of responsibility in safeguarding the Fatherland’s sacred sea and islands.

In addition, the camp served as a chance for agencies and units to cement their relations and exchange necessary knowledge and experience.

The camp ends on May 12.
