With four rounds, the contest will run from September 25, 2026, to March 2027, combining online and in-person formats, featuring such segments as "Setting Sail," "Riding the Waves," "Reaching Port," and "Planting Sovereignty Markers."
Contestants will compete across three levels, namely the commune/ward and provincial rounds and the regional finale. The contest draws the participation of teams from Vinh Long, Dong Thap, and Ho Chi Minh City. Following the regional finale, the organizing panel will select the most outstanding team to represent the region at the national finale hosted by the Viet Nam Coast Guard.
Speaking at the event, a representative from the Coast Guard Region 3 Command affirmed that the contest not only provides a useful playground for students but also helps instill their revolutionary ideals, patriotism, and solidarity.
