Can Tho border guards rescue five fishermen

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on September 22, Trung Binh Border Post received information from Nguyen Van Hao, owner of fishing boat CM-92044-TS, reporting that his vessel carrying five fishermen was in distress at sea.

Immediately after receiving the information, Trung Binh Border Post notified nearby vessels operating in the area to join search and rescue efforts, while taking measures to promptly support the victims.

At around 8:30 p.m. on the same day, fishing boat CM-08032-TS, captained by Le Van Phuc (born in 1979, residing in Sa Bau hamlet, Thuan Hoa commune, Can Tho city), reported that it had located and safely rescued all five fishermen.

At approximately 8:50 a.m. on September 23, fishing boat CM-08032-TS brought the fishermen to Tran De Border Checkpoint and handed them over to functional forces. Trung Binh Border Post dispatched officers and military medical personnel to receive and conduct health checks for the fishermen.

Initial verification showed that fishing boat CM-92044-TS encountered an incident at sea due to rough seas and strong winds. Fortunately, all five fishermen were promptly detected and rescued by a nearby fishing boat.

After receiving the fishermen, Trung Binh Border Post continued to monitor and care for their health, complete necessary procedures, and coordinate with their families to return them to their localities.
