Dak Lak border guards present “Great unity” house to needy people

Representatives of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command and local authorities present gifts to the family.

Implementing the joint program between the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province and the provincial Border Guard Command on supporting the construction of “Great unity” houses for poor households and families in difficult circumstances along border areas in 2026, Yok M'Bre Border Post has pro-actively coordinated with local authorities to review, survey, and assess living conditions, housing situations, capabilities, and aspirations of disadvantaged families.

Having learnt that the family of Ngo Van Giap is a near-poor household and has been living in a degraded and unsafe wooden house for many years, Yok M'Bre Border Post reported to and advised high levels to provide financial support of VND 80 million to build a “Great unity” house for the family.

After more than four months of construction, the house featuring one living room, three bedrooms, and one kitchen was completed with guaranteed quality and on schedule.

Over the past years, Dak Lak’s border guard force has actively participated in social welfare programs and cared for the lives of local people, helping households develop their economies, strengthening public trust in the Party, State, military, and local authorities, and building a solid posture of people’s heart to firmly safeguard territorial sovereignty and national border security.
