Facing the risk of rice lodging, damage, and germination if not harvested in time, officers and soldiers quickly deployed forces and coordinated with the family to conduct the harvest.

Senior Captain Bui Van Mai, Second-in-Command Officer of the Khanh Hung commune Military Command, stated that upon learning about heavy rain causing flooding in local rice fields, the command proactively mobilized forces to provide support.

He emphasized that helping residents during difficult times serves as a duty for military personnel, noting that officers and soldiers maintained high responsibility and worked continuously alongside families to harvest and move rice to safety, thereby minimizing losses.
