More gratitude activities for policy beneficiaries in border areas
PANO – “Forever 20 years old” fund organized a journey to border areas in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces with the participation of nearly 50 war veterans, relatives of martyrs, youth union members and youths of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH).
From June 16 - 20, the delegation paid tribute and offered incense to martyrs at the Dong Loc Junction Historical Relics Site (Ha Tinh province) and the Vietnam - Lao Martyrs Cemetery (Anh Son town, Anh Son district , Nghe An province).
The delegation also toured Dong Loc commune (Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province), Bung and Co Phat villages (Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district) and Ky Son district in Nghe An province; and presented 70 gifts at a total value of VND 150 million to policy families and disadvantaged households at the destinations.
According to Lieutenant General Doan Sinh Huong, President of the “Forever 20 years old” fund, the journey is a practical activity to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day (July 27), contributing to boosting gratitude activities in the localities and spreading the traditional education fire among young generations.
