PANO - Military Central Hospital 108 on December 7th held a three-day program to provide free health check-ups, medicines and eye surgeries to people in Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province.

Earlier, the delegation had offered incense and reported achievements at Tran Hung Dao national historical relic.
On the first day of the program, eight locals registered to have cataract surgery by Phaco technology.
The same day, Binh Thuan provincial Military Command handed over a house to heroic mother Pham Thi Hong in Thuan Hoa commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province. Hong’s husband and son sacrificed in the resistance war for national salvation. The 55sq.m house was built with financial assistance from the unit.
Ninh Binh provincial Military Command handed over a 75sq.m house to Lieutenant Doan Van Tuan, a non-commissioned officer of Yen Mo district’s military command. The construction cost came from the gratitude fund of Military Zone 3’s Command and Yen Mo district People’s Committee. Troops of the district’s military command contributed 50 working days to complete the house as planned.
1,000 policy beneficiaries, including wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, heroic Vietnamese mothers and those who had rendered good service to the nation, in Hai Hau, Nam Truc, Vu Ban, My Loc communes and Nam Dinh city, have been provided with free health check-ups and medicines by medical personnel from the infirmary of Nam Dinh provincial Military Command.
