During the 2026-2027 school year, the border post and the company are providing scholarships for students in Tuyen Binh and Khanh Hung communes, Tay Ninh province. Under the program, more than 100 students in the two communes have received scholarships since April 2025. The regular support has helped them afford books, school supplies and other learning materials.
Speaking at the scholarship presentation, Maj. Nguyen Van The, Deputy Political Commissar of Long Khot Border Post, said that many families in the border area still face difficulties, particularly in supporting their children’s education. Alongside its mission of managing and protecting national sovereignty and border security, the unit considers caring for disadvantaged students both a responsibility and an expression of its bond with local residents.
“We hope these scholarships will give the students greater motivation to overcome their circumstances and strive to study well,” he said.

In the coming period, alongside carrying out the “Paving the way to school for children - Adopted children of border posts” program, Long Khot Border Post will continue connecting with and mobilizing social resources to support disadvantaged students in the area. Though modest, the gifts will help give the students greater confidence on their journey to school.
