Dong Nai province currently manages over 85,000 dossiers, with over 77,000 ones about national contributors and their families, and nearly 8,000 on receiving one-time allowances under the Prime Minister’s decision. The province provides monthly allowances to over 98,000 individuals, with a total expenditure of VND 296.7 billion. The province has also implemented various support policies for national contributors and their families, and organized meaningful activities to honor martyrs and assist martyrs’ families.
At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Home Affairs Dang Thanh Hoang reported on the province’s achievements in caring for and realizing policies for wounded and sick soldiers, martyrs’ families, and other national contributors. This year, the province has collected 122 martyrs’ remains.

In his speech, Gen. Thang affirmed that in recent years, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense have consistently led and directed relevant agencies to closely coordinate with ministries, departments, and localities to research and propose to the Party and State amendments, timely issuance, and supplementation of various regulations and policies concerning national contributors and troops’ families, thereby meeting the aspirations of policy beneficiaries.
He expressed deep gratitude for the great contribution and sacrifices of heroes and fallen, wounded and sick soldiers, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and individuals and families rendering outstanding services to the revolution in Dong Nai province.
On behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Political Affairs, Gen. Thang presented 50 gifts to the delegation’s members.
