The program presented 50 gift packages, each containing a meal, milk and a scarf, to female patients. Each gift showed the sentiment, care, and best wishes, giving the patients greater confidence and strength to overcome their illnesses, recover soon and return to their families.
According to non-commissioned Major Pham Thi Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Women’s Union chapter of the Department of Policy and Social Affairs, since 2022, they have jointly organized this charitable activity, providing 80 meals each month to disadvantaged patients receiving treatment at the hospital. On the occasion of the Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20, they have prepared additional small gifts for female patients, hoping to offer them encouragement and help them have more motivation to recover soon and return to their families.
