* As of October 26, the province has collected VND 1.3 billion to support the Central provinces to overcome natural disaster consequences. In the future, the provincial authorities will send missions to present gifts and donate money to flood-hit people.
* The Military Command of Dong Thap province on October 26 held a fund-raising event for flood victims in Central Vietnam.
Nearly VND 250 million was raised during the event. The money will be transferred to the management board of Dong Thap Natural Disaster Prevention and Support Fund and then to people in flood-hit areas to help them stabilize their lives.

* Lung Lo Construction Corporation under the Ministry of National Defense held a fund-raising event to support victims of the historic floods in Central Vietnam.
As a result, the unit has raised VND 1 billion to support flood-hit people. Senior Colonel Tang Van Chi, General Director of Lung Lo Construction Corporation, asked leaders of its affiliated units to closely coordinate with relevant agencies to promptly send relief supplies to needy people.
* A delegation of the People Army's Newspaper (PAN) visited and presented gifts to flood-hit people in Thach Ha and Cam Xuyen districts, Ha Tinh province on October 26.
The gifts included life jackets, essential commodities, such as dry food, water treatment chemicals, water filtration solutions and medicines for common diseases, all worth more than VND 70 million.

The same day, the PAN's mission also handed over relief supplies, including necessities, 500 water filters, dry food, life jackets, and coats to the Border Guard Command of Quang Binh province and Volunteer Group Tu Bi Hy Xa of the province. The relief aid is worth nearly VND 280 million.
According to Major Hoang Truong Giang, Deputy Head of the Circulation and Communications Division of the PAN, the relief aid, worth more than VND 350 million, was donated by the Clean Hand program, and other individuals and social organizations through the “Sympathy for the Central region” program which the PAN launched.
More relief supplies should be sent to the newspaper’s bank account 0521101283003 at the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank’s Dien Bien Phu branch or the newspaper’s headquarters at No.7 Phan Dinh Phung street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi. The program runs till October 30, 2020.
