Military units carry out meaningful activities for the needy
PANO - Defense-Economic Unit 379 of Military Region 2 handed over cattle to 24 needy households in Na Bung commune, Nam Po district, Dien Bien province on October 15 as part of the program to multiply the poverty reduction model in Muong Cha defense-economic area in the province this year.
Specifically, each pair of households received a breeding cow and they will take turns raising the cow for reproduction.

Apart from cattle, Defense-Economic Unit 379 also gave the recipients veterinary medicines and antiseptics.
At the ceremony, Giang A Chu, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Na Bung commune informed that Pa Kha village, Na Bung commune has 150 households with over 900 people. 98 percent of the households live in poverty. Therefore, this meaningful gift from Unit 379 is of great help to the local households.
On the occasion, Chu thanked Defense-Economic Unit 379 for their support over the past time for locals, saying that it has helped raise their incomes and escape from poverty step by step in a sustainable manner.

* The same day, the Military Command of Da Nang city handed over a gratitude house to its staff Captain Van Minh Hieu. The Military Command of Da Nang city contributed VND 70 million from its “Gratitude Fund” to construct the 100sq.m house.
This is the third house that the Da Nang municipal Military Command has handed over to its troops so far this year in celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the armed forces of Military Region 5 (October 16) and the 22nd Congress of Da Nang city’s Party Organization in the 2020-2025 term.
