The program commenced at Border Marker No.666, where the units held a flag-raising ceremony. The A Luoi district Youth Union Organization organized a ceremony for admitting one new member to the Communist Party of Vietnam and 16 members to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youpth Union.

At the event, representative of A Dot Border Gate’s Border Post introduced the sovereignty marker, the functions and duties of the border guard forces, and the responsibility of the younger generation for the national sovereignty and border security protection.
During the "March in border areas" program, the organizing panel awarded certificates of merit to 10 exemplary Youth Union members and outstanding Youth Union staff who actively participated in building a firm whole-people's border posture and implementing the "March in border areas" program.
On this occasion, the units presented 30 gifts (worth VND 500,000 each) to households and students facing difficulties in A Luoi district, as well as 50 gifts (worth VND 1 million each) to needy students. They also inaugurated the "National Flag Road," a 1.8km-long project for people of A Tin hamlet, Lam Dot commune, A Luoi district. Health check-up and free medicine distribution events were organized for hundreds of local residents in the border area as well.

During this event, the Thua Thien Hue provincial Youth Union Organization presented gifts to officers and soldiers of A Dot Border Gate’s Border Post, and Border Protection Company 531, Tavang Public Security Station, and people of Ka Lo village in Sekong province, Laos.
The "March in border areas" program, held annually, aims to raise public awareness and strongly affirm the determination of the youth in safeguarding national sovereignty, territorial integrity, maritime borders, and sacred islands. It is also an opportunity for the younger generation to demonstrate their responsibility through projects and contribution to the socio-economic development of border areas.
