National flags given to households defending the borderline

During the program, the organizers presented 20 gifts to village patriarchs, heads of villages, and reputed people in villages. They also handed over 30 gifts, 25 Vu A Dinh scholarships, 20 bikes, and 500 warm clothes to ethnic minority students facing hard living conditions. In addition, they gave 300 national flags to households defending the borderline; 3,000 chicks, 1.5 tons of animal feed, and farm equipment to needy families of ethnic minority youths.

They also carried out the “Lighting up border areas” and “Bridge of happiness” projects. All gifts and facilities in the program were worth over VND 1.3 billion.

Also in this program, all levels’ Youth Union organizations enhanced education on national tradition, paid gratitude to war veterans, border guard officers and soldiers, applied digital transformation in border localities. Meanwhile, VYF’s chapters in border provinces and cities organized the “March in border areas” program in disadvantaged border localities, “Youths with border markers” journeys, and “I love my Fatherland” flag-saluting ceremonies, visits and sport and cultural exchanges with border guards, and other social welfare activities for needy people and children, among others.
