The house presentation was one of the activities in the “Accompanying women in border areas” program.

The house was constructed on an area of 70sq.m. with a total investment of VND 130 million, of which VND 100 million was donated by the Women’s Union of the provincial Border Guard Command and Ha Eva Voluntary Group, and the rest came from Bay’s family and Ia Rve Border Post. In addition, troops of Ia Rve Border Post spent 130 working days building the project.

The house, including one sitting room, two bed rooms, one kitchen, and a system of auxiliary projects, was completed after more than two and a half months of construction.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Political Chief of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command Colonel Nguyen Doan Hoa emphasized the significance of the “Accompanying women in border areas” program which has given timely support to needy women and helped them improve their living standards. Since 2018, the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command has built 19 houses and presented hundreds of livelihood making tools to needy women in border areas. 

On this occasion, the Political Department, Ia Rve Border Post, the Dak Lak Border Guard Youth Union, the Women's Union of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command and the Red Cross Society of Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province’s Association of Businesswomen, and Ha Eva Voluntary Group gave gifts to Mrs. Nong Thi Bay's family.
