Learning the housing difficulty of Dai’s family and proposal of the military commands of Song Cong city and Thai Nguyen province, the MR1 Command approved a plan to build a house for Dai’s family.

On behalf of the MR1 Command, Major General Ngo Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Political Department of MR1, presents gifts to the family of Tran Van Dai.

The construction of the 100 sq.m. house started in February this year at a cost of VND 550 million, including VND 80 million from the MR1 Command’s Gratitude Fund.

During the house-building process, local militiamen, Youth Union and Women’s Union members contributed hundreds of working days. The house was completed after four months with high sense of responsibility of involved forces.

At the inaugural and handover ceremony, involved forces presented the family of Tran Van Dai various meaningful gifts in both cash and kind with the hope that his family will soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their life.

The activity took place on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day, demonstrating the Party, State, and military’s thoughtfulness and gratitude to those devoted to independence and freedom of the nation.
