In Quang Tri province, water levels in rivers had receded by September 15, leaving no remaining flooded areas. Landslide sites were repaired, ensuring smooth traffic flow.
The provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with on-site forces to help 552 households, totaling 2,048 people, return home and gradually stabilize their lives.
At 5:00 a.m. on September 15, in the waters of Phu Quy special zone, Lam Dong province, trawler numbered LD 97007 TS carrying 10 people capsized, leaving one person trapped inside. The Lam Dong provincial Border Guard Command is actively conducting search operations for the missing person.
At 8:30 a.m. the same day, at the dock of Ben Thanh Shipbuilding Facility on the Ham Luong River in Tan Thuy commune, Vinh Long province, a worker fell into the river and went missing. The Vinh Long provincial Border Guard immediately deployed forces to search for the victim.

In severely affected areas, immediately after the floodwaters subsided, the Quang Tri provincial Military Command coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, and functional forces to quickly reach affected areas to provide support.
Officers and soldiers were assigned to specific residential areas and households to help clear mud, clean houses, collect waste, unclog drainage systems, rearrange belongings, and repair initial damage.

In areas affected by landslides and isolated locations, local armed forces used available vehicles and equipment to clear vegetation, remove rocks, and soil, and carry out temporary repairs to restore transportation routes and help residents stabilize their lives as soon as possible.
In addition to disaster recovery efforts, units continued maintaining forces and vehicles to kept a close watch on the areas, especially those at high risk of landslides, flash floods, and deep inundation, in order to promptly handle arising circumstances and ensure the safety of people’s lives and property.
