To assist households with arable land but lacking the means to purchase seedlings for planting, the Quang Nham Border Station collaborated with local authorities to review and distribute 25,000 acacia seedlings to five households in Quang Nham Commune, A Luoi District. This initiative aims to support border-area residents in economic development and sustainable poverty reduction.

This meaningful activity reflects the border guard troops’ gratitude to the people living in border areas. It also strengthens the bond between the military and the people, encouraging locals to focus on agricultural production, economic development, and active participation in safeguarding national sovereignty.

Major Nguyen Dang Dong, Commanding Officer of the Quang Nham Border Station, stated that the unit has implemented various livelihood support programs in recent years. Moving forward, it will continue mobilizing resources and working with local authorities to identify and assist impoverished households with production models suited to their specific conditions and customs.
