Hai Phong’s Border Guard presents Tet gifts to ship owners
PANO – On the occasion of the lLunar New Year 2025, the Hai Phong municipal Border Guard Command visited and presented gifts to 18 ship owners who have actively participated in protecting the city's waters, on January 24.
Second-in-Command of the Hai Phong municipal Border Guard Command Colonel Tran Tan and the working delegation inquired after and delivered gifts, including VND 5 million in cash and items, to the vehicle owners in Do Don and Kien Thuy districts and Thuy Nguyen city. They have been active in protecting the waters and islands of Hai Phong.

These gifts aimed to support and encourage the vehicle owners in continuing their role in safeguarding national sovereignty. The gesture also ensured that they can enjoy a joyful and cozy Tet 2025.
Moreover, the activity encouraged them to keep heading to the sea, report any foreign ships violating Vietnam's maritime sovereignty, or any illegal activities at sea, enabling the authorities to act promptly to protect the nation’s borders and waters.
