During the working session, delegates underlined that the Standing Board of the Lao Cai provincial Party Committee has strictly implemented the Politburo’s Directive No.35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024, on Party congresses at all levels in the run-up to the 14th National Party Congress; the 12th-tenure PCC’s Resolution No.18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017, on some issues related to the continued streamlining and re-organization of the political system’s apparatus towards efficiency and effectiveness; the Politburo’s Resolution No.57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, on breakthroughs in scientific and technological development, innovation, and national digital transformation; and the PCC’s Conclusion No.123-KL/TW, dated January 24, 2025, which supplements the socio-economic development plan for 2025 with a growth target of 8% or higher, and others.

In his remarks, Sr. Lt. Gen. Trinh Van Quyet praised the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai provincial Party Committee for its leadership and direction in implementing political, ideological and dissemination work to raise high of awareness of troops, party members and people from all walks of life, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party Central Committee.

The GDP chief also required the unit to continue to perform tasks related to the restructuring of the organization in a synchronized and strict manner, with a clear roadmap and appropriate solutions; well prepare for the upcoming congress and request agencies and mass organizations to collect opinions for the political documents of the Provincial Party Committee and draft documents to be presented at the 14th Party Congress.

The unit should focus on scientific and technological application, innovation, and digital transformation, while proactively defining the province's growth target for 2025 in line with the development goals set by the PCC.
