According to the digital transformation report, in 2024, the GDP’s Organs strictly followed directives from the Party Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense. The core objectives of digital transformation were comprehensively implemented, with key highlights including the completion of GDP's e-government structure version 2.0 and development of version 3.0, the implementation of document and executive management software across most units within GDP, the digitization of documents with electronic signatures, reaching 34% on the military data transmission network

For 2025, GDP’s Organs will focus on building a centralized and synchronized digital database to serve Party and political work and integrating it with MND's databases, developing a secure and modern IT infrastructure, ensuring 100% connectivity of GDP-affiliated units via the military data network.

From 2026 to 2030, the focus will be on institutional and infrastructural development, technological integration, process digitization, and establishing a digital ecosystem for the political sector.

At the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that by the end of 2025, GDP’s Organs must basically complete the digital transformation in line with MND's requirements. He highlighted the creation of a unified and interconnected digital database, strengthening Party and political work operations in the digital environment, ensuring seamless integration within GDP and across the whole-military.

He emphasized that digital transformation should improve command and operational efficiency while safeguarding military secrets through enhanced cybersecurity and information safety.

He also urged all leaders, officers, and personnel to increase awareness of and responsibility for digital transformation, shifting from traditional work methods to digital processes. To ensure progress, GDP leadership should intensify monitoring and supervision of digital transformation projects, guaranteeing both quality and timely completion.
