A report delivered at the event showed that last year, these enterprises did their utmost, developed active solutions to leadership, management, production, completed their assigned duties and made contribution to the State budget.
The report named several enterprises effectively maintaining stability in revenue, profit, budget collection, average income of employees for years. They are the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel), Military Petroleum Corporation (MIPECORP), Thanh An Corporation, Truong Son Construction Corporation. The report also highlighted enterprises’ great efforts in creating jobs, organizing production and business effectively, making maximum use of production and business results for financial processing and provisioning.
Attentively, production and business activities of enterprises with 100% state capital which are directly under the MND’s management were effective, with higher economic and financial indicators against 2021. Particularly, the total revenue and other income in 2022 reached 110.33% of the plan, an increase of 17.15% compared to 2021. The total profit before tax was 106.9% of the plan, up 22.12% in comparison with that in 2021. The total post-tax profit reached 105.85% of the plan, an increase of 20.36% against 2021. The total contribution to the state budget was up 15% against 2021, reaching 102.3% of the plan. In addition, employment and income of workers were basically guaranteed. The average employee’s income increased by 6.3% compared to 2021.
Notably, some enterprises have well implemented key projects assigned by the MND and holding political, military, defense and diplomatic significance, including those on the border patrol roads, the Lao National Assembly building, and the Vietnam Military History Museum.

In his concluding speech, Gen. San applauded and spoke highly of production, business, finance outcomes achieved by the MND-managed enterprises over the past year. He urged them to continue to promote the attainments, improve the operational efficiency, well carry out the policy of combining defense missions and economic activities, pay attention to Party building in military enterprises, create solidarity, consensus in developing and actualizing business strategies, and foster the working force.
The deputy defense minister asked enterprises to raise their competitiveness; well ensure benefits for workers; effectively carry out mass mobilization, follow situational developments, and pro-actively contribute to local socio-economic development, especially in strategic, remote and mountainous areas; improve productivity, quality, among others.
He also requested the MND’s functional agencies to enhance the inspection and supervision of the activities of MND-managed enterprises in terms of economy, finance and investment; and continue making proposals to promulgate, amend and supplement mechanisms and policies to meet the requirements of business management and administration.
