Ship 6001 heads for missions at sea
PANO – Ship 6001 of Naval Squadron 211, Flotilla 21, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command left the military port of Coast Guard Region 2 on November 30 to carry out missions at sea.
Before the ship departed, Major General Tran Quang Tuan, Commander of Coast Guard Region 2, together with representatives from agencies and units, came to the port to assign tasks to the officers and soldiers of Ship 6001 and encourage them to heighten determination, overcome all difficulties, and successfully complete the tasks of patrolling and preventing illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing activities, as well as being ready to carry out search and rescue missions.

According to Captain Doan Van Tri, Political Commissar of Ship 6001, troops defined that it is an important task. Therefore, all of them showed high determination in task performance.

Meanwhile, the ship well prepared enough food, biscuits, fruits, etc. to ensure that troops can carry out long-term missions while celebrating a warm and joyful lunar New Year festival at sea. All weapons, machinery, and equipment were ready for the duty.
