During the meeting, Senior Colonel Nguyen Viet Anh, Deputy Head of the Economic Department, presented a report on the construction process of major projects being undertaken by the military enterprises. Despite facing difficulties such as site clearance, cost compensation of raw materials, and material supply, the enterprises have successfully mobilized all sources to deploy the projects with quality and on schedule. Several bidding packages have even achieved and exceeded their schedule compared to the plan.

Gen. San commended the units for their efforts in undertaking the projects, which have contributed to preserving the traditions, prestige, and brand name of military enterprises. He also acknowledged the difficulties faced by the units, especially those related to objective reasons, and urged them to continue drawing concrete experience and lessons to deploy their projects more effectively.

The deputy defense minister stressed that the military enterprises should focus on site clearance, collaborate well with local authorities, investors, and relevant sectors to address other difficulties, and promote their traditions while mobilizing forces and vehicles to speed up the construction process. He emphasized the importance of ensuring labor hygiene and safety as well as implementing good mass mobilization in their stationed localities.

Finally, Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San requested that business leaders regularly report the progress to the relevant authorities during the implementation of works, projects, and bidding packages. This will help summarize reports and propose recommendations to the Ministry of National Defense.
