Military enterprises contribute to national economy

Addressing the congress, Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San underscored that, military enterprises have taken advantage of all resources to well perform national defense tasks in line with developing socio-economy and create many products, contributing to national economic development.

Especially, during the reform process of the country, military enterprises have promoted its strength and affirmed its position in all fields to take the lead in different sectors of the national economy, making contribution to creating jobs and incomes for thousands of workers.

In addition, some businesses have actively developed investment in foreign markets, initially achieving positive results.

In the coming time, General San requested that the Military Business Association should promote cooperation and mutual understanding among military enterprises and businessmen, to together develop, diversify supporting forms for their members to boost production and raise product quality and consumption at home and abroad.

Besides, they should also build their brand names, enhance competitiveness and international economic integration, and promote sustainable development, among others.
