The Bac Lieu provincial Party Committee and People's Committee have developed resolutions and action plans to actualize the socio-economic development coupled with national defense and security consolidation program, built defensive areas.
The province’s Defense and Security Education Council has effectively conducted defense and security education work and paid attention to enhancing the quality of defense and security education for students and people.
The working delegation asked the province to continue to thoroughly implement the Party's guidelines and the State’s policies and laws regarding national defense and defense and security education. In addition, it is important to adhere to the Party’s viewpoint that economic development is the central task, building the Party is crucial, and ensuring national defense and security is a vital, ongoing duty; each stage of economic development is a step in strengthening national defense and security.
The focus should be on building a healthy, strong local party committee and political system, fostering a great unity among people, and effectively implementing social policies, ethnic policies, and religious policies, thereby contributing to building a strong people’s heart posture and enhancing political and spiritual potential.
Agencies and units were requested to actively give advice on building defensive areas, new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas.
Local armed forces should closely coordinate with various agencies and units to grasp the situation to give timely advice, contributing to handling defense and security circumstances, effectively responding to natural disasters and diseases.
