Competition for brigade-level naval officers opened
PANO - The Naval Service opened a competition on October 19 for commanders and political commissars at the regiment- and brigade-levels with the attendance of Rear Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem, the service's commanding officer.
During the four-day event, 54 contestants competed in various categories, including Party and political work, logistic services, line-up regulation, sports and physical training activities, and K54 shooting.

The competition aims to comprehensively assess the capability of commanding officers and political commissars at the regiment- and brigade-levels in implementing tasks. Through the event, participants learn from their experiences and address their weaknesses to fulfill their upcoming tasks.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rear Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the organizing panel and contestants.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the contestants competed in the Party and political work category. The closing ceremony will be on October 23.
