During the four-day event, 28 contestants from seven commando brigades in the whole military competed in various military subjects, such as training, line-up regulations, shooting, politics, logistics and technical services.
Speaking at the event, Gen. Ba stressed that over the past years, the Commando Corps has regularly organized contests for its troops and technical staff. Through the competitions, the participants have had a chance to improve their qualifications, thus contributing to completing their assigned tasks. Many commanders who succeeded in previous contests are now holding leadership positions in commando units.
This year's competition aims to check the comprehensive qualifications of commanders and political commissars at the brigade-level, thereby helping the Commando Corps Command's leaders build training plans for troops in the future.
