Border troops coordinate to protect sea port security
PANO - The Border Post of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Port Border Gate on October 15 held a ceremony to review 10 years of implementing the coordination regulation in protection of security at sea ports.
The regulation has been implemented between the border guard force and 58 sea ports in the three provinces of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, and Binh Duong.

According to a report at the conference, the unit has so far signed the coordination regulation with 58 sea ports, strictly implemented all signed contents on the management and protection of national sovereignty and border security at sea ports, thereby contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, and ensuring local socio-economic development.
Over the past 10 years, the Border Post of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Port Border Gate and the Boards of Directors of 58 sea ports have coordinated to apply procedures and protect security for more than 63,000 ships, the entry and exit of 888,678,169 crew-members and 1,903,971,879 passengers, the transfer of over 3,4 tons of goods, and 29,200 patrol and inspection sessions.
At the conference, the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province honored seven collectives and 20 individuals for their great achievements in implementing the coordination regulation over the past 10 years.
