In recent years, Vietnam has sent 32 delegations to Laos since 2011 to develop curricula and training programs. In 2021, it provided 313 academic documents, including 205 master’s theses and 108 doctoral dissertations, for postgraduate training. In 2024, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding, creating a foundation for comprehensive cooperation. These achievements have deepened solidarity, improved healthcare for soldiers and civilians, and opened pathways for future collaboration.

General Tien expressed confidence in the growth of Lao military medicine and in the future of cooperation of the two universities. The two sides will continue to expand their partnership and aim to become leading regional centers for military medical training and research, worthy of the trust of the two Parties, States, and militaries.
