Lao Military Medical University delegation visits Military Hospital 103
PANO - A delegation from the Lao Military Medical University, led by Colonel Phounsavath Phouvilay, Deputy Director of the Department of Military Medicine under the Ministry of Defense of Laos, visited and worked with Military Hospital 103 under the Military Medical University of Vietnam on September 16.

During their visit, the delegation was briefed on the hospital’s notable achievements in education, training, treatment, and scientific research. The delegation also toured the facilities at the Center of Diagnostic Imaging, the Department of Biochemistry, the Department of Microbiology, the Organ Transplant Center, and the Simulation Center.
Speaking at the event, Maj. Gen. Luong Cong Thuc, Director of Military Hospital 103, highlighted the successful cooperation between the hospital and the Lao Military Medical Academy, noting that these achievements have contributed to strengthening the friendship between the two countries.

He further emphasized the need for continued collaboration and mutual support, particularly in diagnosis, treatment, research, and training. He also stressed the importance of effectively implementing existing agreements between the two countries’ military medical sectors to make significant contributions to the healthcare of Lao officers, soldiers, and people.
