Preparations for Vietnamese - Chinese coast guard exchange started
PANO - On June 4, the Vietnam Coast Guard Command held a conference to kick off preparations for the first High-Level Party and Political Work Exchange Program between the Vietnam Coast Guard and the China Coast Guard, which is set to take place in August this year.
At the conference, Major General Le Quang Dao, Chief of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command, emphasized the significance of the exchange. He urged all relevant agencies and units to consider it as a key political mission of the Vietnam Coast Guard force for 2024.

The main activities of the exchange program will include courtesy visits on leaders of the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People's Army, high-level talks between the political commissars of both forces, visits to the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site, a visit to the Command of Coast Guard Region 1, a tour to CSB 8004 vessel of Flotilla 11 under Coast Guard Region 1, and a Party and political work activity onboard. The program will consist of a cultural and artistic exchange gala. Through these activities, the Vietnamese and Chinese coast guard forces aim to strengthen their mutual understanding, and share experience in Party and political work.

To ensure the success of the program, Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai, Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard, requested all agencies and units to strictly adhere to the assigned tasks. He also emphasized the need to select capable officers to participate in the exchange program.
