L2FH Rotation 7 in aero-medical evacuation training
PANO -The Aero-Medical Evacuation Team (AMET) of Level-2 Field Hospital (L2FH) Rotation 7 has recently completed an aero-medical evacuation training course supported by Australia.
The course, held in Ho Chi Minh City, was jointly delivered by experienced Australian experts and seasoned Vietnamese instructors with extensive field experience.
AMET plays a vital role in the operations of Vietnam’s L2FHs deployed to the U.N. Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan. In emergencies where local medical resources are insufficient, AMET provides a crucial lifeline, ensuring timely evacuation of patients to higher-level medical facilities. Therefore, pre-deployment training at home is essential to prepare the team for the demanding tasks ahead at U.N. missions.
The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce several photos of the training course.
